The Lockdown Capital are a Blood Punk band from North Yorkshire, England.

The Lockdown Capital formed in April 2008.

The band create music that is based on horror and gore, they meld many genres together including Hardcore, Punk, Metal, and Thrash. As an over-all genre, they named this style of music "Blood Punk"

On-stage, The Lockdown Capital display a very visually stimulating set, which makes the show more exciting and entertaining. The main aim of the band is for their live set simulate the intense, on-edge feelings that are felt when watching a horror movie.

The Lockdown Capital take heavy influence from Leeds based ZombieCore band Send More Paramedics, and California based Thrash Metal band Slayer.
