The Lingus are an original indie rock act from Antrim, Northern Ireland.

The band have released four EPs since their formation in 2004 which have met with critical acclaim from much of the Irish media. The band has enjoyed radio airplay from many stations including BBC Radio 1 [1] [2] and featured as 'unsigned act of the week' on the Steve Lamacq show on BBC 6 Music in 2005.

Live highlights include a show in London and several appearances at the Empire Music Hall in Belfast (twice as part of the Belfest festival). The band have also played support in Belfast to touring bands such as Larrikin Love, The Adventures and The Dudley Corporation.

The band have featured on many unsigned compilations including PSB #6 [3], released by UK indie label Smalltown America in 2006.
