[edit] The Band
The Jubilees are a four-piece band from Lincolnshire in England, UK. The band formed in January 2004, named after the Jubilee rooms in Lincolnshire are looking to attract a wider fanbase and more gigs at higher profile venues across the country.
The band comprises four members, Dan Hare sings lead vocals and plays guitar, Mark Ward, known as Wardy plays keyboards and sings backing vocals, Gaz (Gary) Sutton plays bass and Chris Tuck known as Tucky plays drums.
The band first released a 6 track demo CD in 2005 self titled The Jubilees which was written, recorded, mixed and produced by The Jubilees. They released a full length CD, 'Hide & Seek' in October 2006 comprising of 11 tracks, including Hide & Seek, Insomniac and One In A Million.
Since then the band have gigged all over the country included 2 sets at The Cavern, Liverpool (England) made world famous by The Beatles after they started performing their in 1961 before they themselves were world famous going on to make 192 appearances at the venue.
The future looks promising for The Jubilees with interest from big name record companies such as EMI and Sony Records.
