"The Itch" is pop singer Vitamin C's first single from her second album, More. With this single, she introduced the more sexual yet very light side of Vitamin C and what the new album had in store for the fans. Although critics loved this song,[citation needed] it failed to crack the Top 40 on the Hot 100 in 2001, peaking at #45. However, it did have moderate success by peaking on the Hot Singles Sales at #5, and the Top 40 Mainstream at #26.
Vitamin C also performed the song on an episode of Madtv the following year.
