The Hurting is the debut album by British pop band Tears for Fears. It was released on March 25, 1983. It was the group's first #1 on the UK Albums Chart.
The album was remastered and reissued in 1999. This new release included four remixes as bonus tracks and an extensive booklet which described the recording process of the album.
