[edit] History

Mike Andrea (bass, vocals), Kevin Ebaugh (guitar, vocals), Dave Pucino (drums), and Dan Simonich (guitar, vocals) formed the band in 2002 as Agape. Soon it was obvious that Agape was the name, or close to the name, of many, mostly Christian, bands. The band was renamed to The Hungry Hungry Hypocrites, a play on words regarding the popular game Hungry Hungry Hippos. After sitting in on songs during a few shows, Ryan Miele (keyboards) joined the band as a permanent member. Long time friend Matt Longobardi manages the band[2].

The band has played at various venues around New England and New York such as Arlene's Grocery, The Webster Theater, and more. They have shared the stage with artists such as Pete Francis, Mook (featuring actor Paul Dano), ZOX, Lannen Fall, Black 47, and more.
