The Hits is a greatest hits album by American singer Kelis. The album was released in the UK on March 3, 2008, and in the United States on March 11, 2008. There is no new material included on The Hits.[2]It was originally going to be called Good Stuff - The Best of Kelis, however it was changed for unknown reasons. Despite its small success, the album doesn't include the single "Blindfold Me". On March 9, 2008, the album debuted on the UK Album Chart at a very disappointing #71. This album is said to be a last-minute attempt to make money off of Kelis' previous works before she moves on to a new record label and releases her fifth studio album.[citation needed]
