The Hectics

The Hectics (1958-62) was Freddie Mercury's first music band; the other members of the band were Derrick Branche, Bruce Murray, Farang Irani and Victory Rana. The band was formed while all five were students at St. Peter's Boys School, an English boarding school in Panchgani, near Mumbai, India. The band only played at school events and was not allowed to venture outside for bookings.
