The Heartwork EP is one of the only EPs the British Death metal band Carcass have ever done. It features one track from the previously released Heartwork album, with two additional tracks "Rot 'n' Roll" and "This Is Your Life" that have subsequently been released on the compilation album Wake Up and Smell the... Carcass. Both these new tracks were played on the US and European tours in 1994. They were recorded as a three piece shortly after the departure of Mike Amott and feature extended solos from Steer. The Heartwork EP has been released in Japan with 3 bonus tracks.
