The Hanged Man is a 1964 TV film directed by Don Siegel in which a a gunman seeks to avenge the death of his friend, who he believes has been murdered. It is considered the second "TV movie," that is, a movie made expressly for broadcast television, in history. IT was broadcast by the National Broadcasting Co. on November 18, 1964.
