The Guild of Air Traffic Control Officers

The Guild of Air Traffic Control Officers is a guild of air traffic controllers founded in 1954.[1] It has over 2000 members[1] spread over 125 locations[2] in the UK and overseas in both civilian and military sectors.[1] 50% of these members are employed by NATS.[3]

GATCO participates in the activities of other organzations.[4] GATCO also addresses medical, training. licensing and legal matters in the aviation sector.[5] It also monitors medical aspects of licensing, stress, and working hours of ATCs.[5]
