The Greenheart Project is an NPO based in Tokyo, Japan, but has membership all over the world. By building a solar-powered sailing vessel to transport aid and trade to and from developing and underdeveloped countries, Greenheart will be an environmentally sustainable shipping alternative.
The goals of the Project parallel the goals laid out in the United Nations Millennium Development Goals.
