The Grand Elegance

The Grand Elegance is an American psychedelic blues band from Long Beach, CA formed in 1997. In 2000, they released a 5 song CD titled "Vicious Circles" on Prime Directive Records. Shortly thereafter bassist Julian Devillier left the band, leaving them as a 4 piece. In 2002 they released a 2 song 7" ("The Sex") which was limited to 300 copies on white vinyl. Around 2003 they added guitarist Orlando Sanchez (I'm Gonna Stab You, Parade's End), and in 2006 released an LP titled "Warm Summer Nights".
Guitarist Kyle Mullarky also plays guitar in The Shore and has played with Starlite Desperation. Drummer Anthony Matarazzo plays in FM Bats (Vinyl Dog Records, Sound-Virus) and Some Days, and formerly played with Jail Weddings. Keyboard player Chris Badger plays in Hydrahead Records' Everlovely Lighteningheart.
