The Graffito of Esmet-Akhom

The Egyptian hieroglyphic inscription known as The Graffito of Esmet-Akhom (or Philae 436) is the latest known inscription written in hieroglyphs. It is inscribed in the temple of Philae in southern Egypt, and was written in 396 AD.[1] It is dated to the Birthday of Osiris, year 110 (of Diocletian), which has been dated to August 24, 396 AD.
