The Good University Guide is independently published by a team compiling University League Tables in the UK. The most recent league table published by the guide (2009) [1] ranked the top 10 British universities as follows:
- 1. Oxford
- 2. Cambridge
- 3. London School of Economics
- 4. Imperial College London
- 5. Warwick
- 6. Durham
- 7. St Andrews
- 8. University College London
- 9. SOAS
- 10. Lancaster
The Good University Guide is published online and has a feature which allows personalisation of the rankings by weighting the factors used. It also ranks universities across 59 subject areas.
