The Gladiators (alternate titles - The Peace Game or Gladiatorerna) is a film made in Sweden in 1969, with English subtitles, 90 minutes. It is directed by Peter Watkins.
In order to prevent a Third World War, the superpowers decide to introduce “international peace games” (i.e. a miniature battle fought between teams of soldiers and later on broadcasted on TV around the world).
