[edit] History

The Forms released their debut album, Icarus, in 2003. The album was recorded with legendary producer Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies) at the helm and received a rating of 8.5 on Pitchfork Media. They worked with Albini again on their latest (self-titled) album, which was released in October 2007.

In the past the band has found themselves sharing the stage with bands like The National, The Hold Steady, Deerhunter, Minus the Bear, Ted Leo, Ok Go, Death From Above 1979, Q and not U, Prefuse 73, My Brightest Diamond and Elefant. The next year will find the band on tour again, in support of the new album release.
