The Folks on the Hill is an animated sketch show produced for BBC One Northern Ireland. Its format involves parodying prominent figures in Northern Ireland politics and has also featured Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, Bertie Ahern and George W. Bush. The term 'folks on the hill' refers to the Northern Ireland parliament and government at Stormont Hill.
Written by Sean Crummey, animated by Liam O'Neill up to 2006 and now Ciaran Boyle, and produced by Owen McFadden. Series 10 started airing on BBC One NI from 2 May 2008.
