The Dildo Song

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Dildo Song is a short comedy film created for fun as an editing project by Robert D. Brooks and Alastair Anderson in Vancouver, BC, Canada in 1998. It is an early example of the viral video internet meme.

The video is a spoof or parody of the 'Slinky Song' television commercials of the 1950's, 60's and 70's that promoted the Slinky children's toy. With a minimal production budget and word of mouth advertising, The Dildo Song went on to be viewed by hundreds of millions of people since 1999[1] - and can be found on many different video sharing websites.

The video stars (and the song is performed by) Koralee Nickarz and runs 2 to 3 minutes in different versions.

The Dildo Song was recently featured in the UK television series 'Rude Tube' and named one of the best and most popular viral videos of all time.
