The Devil and Daniel Johnston is a 2006 documentary directed by Jeff Feuerzeig. Its focus is the life and music of singer, songwriter and Austin personality Daniel Johnston. The film won the Documentary Directing Award at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival. It is available on DVD from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, which includes a supplemental feature documenting the infamous reunion between Johnston and his long-time obsession, Laurie.
