The Craig School

The Craig School is an independent, private coeducational day school located in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, United States, serving students in third through twelfth grade. As of the 2004-05 school year, the school has an enrollment of 135 students split between a Lower School (grades 3-8) and Upper School (9-12).[1] The Upper School is located in Lincoln Park. The Mountain Lakes building is owned by the Wilson School.

The Craig School was founded in 1980. The school specializes in the education of children who have encountered difficulty succeeding in the traditional classroom environment due to dyslexia, Auditory processing disorder and Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, using a language-based curriculum. The Craig Upper School was added in 2000.[2]

The Craig Upper School is smaller in size than the Lower School. There are more male students than female students.

The Craig School is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.[3] The Craig School is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools and New Jersey Association of Independent Schools.
