The Concert for Camp

The Concert for Camp is an annual benefit concert held at YMCA Camp Timbers in West Branch, MI. The first concert was held on September 23rd, 2006, with over 100 people attending. The promoters of the concert reported that over $1000 was raised through the event. The official concert website says these monies will be used to build a fishing pier in Piper Lake, the 30 acre lake owned by Camp Timbers. To date the fishing pier has not been built.

The 2007 Concert for Camp dates have been announced as August 25, 2007 at YMCA Camp Timbers. The 2nd annual Camp Timbers Fall Classic 5K will take place Sunday, August 26th, 2007 at 12:00pm. Confirmed bands for 2007 concert include: Taddie Stoneburner and friends Mr Sexy and the Super Ska Machine Bub Fish The North Chanel IDEA House Band hosted by: Dan Lafferty
