The Clouds (UK band)

The Clouds was a Glasgow-based indie pop band from the 1980s, based around brothers John and Bill Charnley.[1]
An earlier band (60s), Clouds, was the first to use the name. Ironically, this band also came from central Scotland.
The Clouds had a hit on the UK Indie Chart in 1988 with "Tranquil" (on the Subway Organisation label), reaching number 13.[1]
