The Butcher Shop is the First Compilation Mixtape/album by acid rapper Esham, released in 2008 Nationwide under Aknu Media (see 2008 in music).

This Album Esham has stated on Detroit rap show The Zone Radio not to be a mixtape but a presentation of Detroit's Best Rap groups and solo artists including Trick Trick, Insane Clown Posse, King Gordy, Poe Whosane, Bizarre Of D12, Royce Da 5'9, Big Herk, and many more. The Cd is also one of the first all Detroit Mixtapes to be released nationally. The first 6 songs on the compilation are also the songs featured on the EP Lamb Chopz
