The definitive KISS collection, featuring 6 hours of digitally remastered recordings drawn from the KISS archives and selected by the band themselves. KISS: The Box Set features 94 career spanning tracks on 5 compact discs, including 30 previously unreleased band and solo demos, outtakes and live recordings. A 120 page color booklet featuring track by track commentary by KISS band members Gene, Paul, Ace and Peter, detailed track information, rare photos and essay.
The Box Set peaked at #128 on the Billboard 200 and was certified gold by the RIAA.
It was certified Gold on December 18, 2001, when it sold 100,000 copies (the set's 5 discs meant that the box only had to ship 100,000 copies for Gold certification)
