The Blue Note is a music venue located in Columbia, Missouri. It was established in 1980 by Richard King[1] in a restored vaudeville theater.[2] It has been the host of numerous musical acts including Johnny Cash, REM, and Wilco.[3] It also hosts a free five-part concert series every summer called Ninth Street Summerfest.[4]
Mojo's
Mojo's (often referred to as "The Blue Note's little sister"[5]) is a smaller music venue(capacity: 200) also owned by Richard King,[1] which usually books smaller name bands.
