[edit] History
The Bloody Hollies were formed in 2000 by three art school students. They have no bass player. Their debut record came out on Garage Pop Records in 2002, and a local Buffalo paper named them the area's "Top New Original Band" that year.[1] They signed to Sympathy for the Record Industry to release their sophomore effort in 2003; two further albums arrived on Alive Records in 2005 and 2007.
The group's sound was initially heavily indebted to 1960s garage punk, but later in the 2000s broadened to incorporate elements of blues, swamp music, and hard rock.[2][3]
