The pseudonym used by the band Franz Ferdinand for their secret 2004 gig at the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds. The name was used on promotional material in local listings magazines.
The name is taken from The Black Hand, the name of the secret society who assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria in 1914.
