The Barcodes

The Barcodes is a modern blues and jazz group. It consists of Bob Haddrell on keyboards, Dino Coccia on drums and Alan Glen playing harmonica and guitar.

Haddrell also writes with top Nashville, Tennessee artists, has recorded in the United States with Billy Swan, and has toured and recorded with Chicago's Jimmy Dawkins and Dave Specter.
[edit] Alan Glen
Glen was a member of The Yardbirds between 1996 and 2003, and features on their album Birdland with Jeff Beck, Brian May and others. Glen has also recorded four albums with Nine Below Zero (Glen was a member between 1991 and 1995), Little Axe (three albums), Dr. Feelgood, Alannah Myles, Dub Syndicate, Junior Delgado, Daniel Smith and 'Sonny Black & The Dukes'. Glen features on the Little Axe albums Hard Grind, and Champagne & Grits. Glen has also performed with Eric Clapton, B. B. King, Slash, Steve Vai, Steve Lukather, Hubert Sumlin, John Mayall and Peter Green. Glen has played at the Royal Albert Hall (several times); The Hilton, Las Vegas; Hollywood, California's House of Blues; and Montreux Jazz Festival and Nice Jazz Festival; as well as various television and radio performances.

Coccia's career has been one of variety since turning professional at the age of 17 in 1967. Since first working abroad with 'The Healers', he has played and recorded worldwide. His session credits include jingles and working with pop, blues and jazz artists. He has worked with Andy Shepard, Alan Barnes, Patrick Moraz and Grace Jones. On the blues scene he has backed James Carr, Byther Smith, John Primer, Katie Webster, Jo Ann Kelly, Mr. T. 99, Tutu Jones, Homesick James and Larry Garner. In America he has worked with J. D. Nicholson, Harmonica Fats, and Lowell Fulson. He also plays on two Daniel Smith albums, and Sonny Black's second CD.
Coccia has released his own new album WildSpace, featuring Alan Barnes (saxophone) and Dave Newton (piano) and other British blues artists.
