The Allen Group is a privately held nation-wide real estate development firm based in the Carmel Valley neighborhood of San Diego, California. It was founded in 1991 by Richard S. Allen. The firm specializes developing rail-served industrial parks, class A commercial properties, mixed-use properties, and residential real estate through Allen Homes.[2][3] The company has many notable clients, such as Cox Communications, FedEx, Kraft Foods, Intuit, and Wal-Mart.[3] Their mission statement is "To focus on the development of people and systems through sound local knowledge of the market."[1]
