The Afternoon Delights was a Boston-based vocal studio quartet, including Rebecca Hall, Janet Powell, Robalee Barnes, and Suzanne Boucher. In 1981, they released a parody of the popular ABC soap opera General Hospital called "General Hospi-Tale." This peaked at number 23 on the R&B charts and number 33 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Soon after, they released an EP, but it had very little success. The group remains a one-hit wonder to this day.
