The 'Human' Factor is a 1975 film directed by Edward Dmytryk and starring George Kennedy and John Mills.

John Kinsdale (Oscar winner George Kennedy, Cool Hand Luke and The Dirty Dozen) works in Naples, Italy as a NATO computer specialist. He returns home from work one day to find his beloved family brutally murdered. Grief-striken, John puts his technological skills to use to hunt down those responsible. His colleagues (John Mills and Rita Tushingham), as well as the US Military commander and local police inspector, struggle to prevent him from taking the law into his own hands. But nothing can prevent the obsessed John from delivering brutal vengeance on the political terrorists responsible.
