[edit] Rationale against speedy deletion

  • As creator of this Wikipedia entry I contest the speedy deletion of this page for the following reasons: TheatreVoice is the UK's foremost website for in-depth audio discussion of theatre. It is a site that is widely referenced in both academic and professional contexts and is used by students, practitioners and theatre enthusiasist in the UK and internationally. Given its five year history, its wide following and acclaim and the fact that it is referenced in several Wikipedia entries on acting, I believe this is a worthy addition to Wikipedia.AndrewEglinton (talk) 14:28, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Please sign your comments with 4 tildes (~). Also can you include in the article some of the references you speak of (preferably from third party reliable sources)? Doing this may help. Jasynnash2 (talk) 12:54, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Can you assert that within the article? --Blanchardb-MeMyEarsMyMouth-timed 13:14, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
  • I have added references as requested and it is asserted in body of article. AndrewEglinton (talk) 14:28, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Have removed 'orphan' status as at least 6 articles now link here.AndrewEglinton (talk) 09:44, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Clean up and other templates

Have done some cleanup according to WP:MOS; more still needed. For reasons, please see the editing summaries in "history" of editing on article page. Thanks. --NYScholar (talk) 22:47, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] London Theatre Blog

For some context about the creation of this article: its creator, AndrewEglinton, is the creator also of the London Theatre Blog, which can be found at the following link London Theatre Blog, and which features a link to the home page of TheatreVoice (the subject of this article) in the "Theatre Blogs" section of its home page. I do not think that a self-published blog can be listed as a source or as an external link in this article, but I provide the link to the blog for others who might want to read it for related information (play reviews, news about plays, and so on), as an adjunct to this article. If someone thinks that the "London Theatre Blog" is notable enough for an article in Wikipedia, perhaps one will be created in the future, and then it can be listed in the "See also" section of this article. --NYScholar (talk) 22:57, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
