Talk:Thea Gill
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"She's married to theatre director Brian Richmond, although she has stated in interviews that she considers herself bisexual."
This statement seems to have been written with the presumption that bisexual people can't get married. Given the existance of the Civil Marriage Act, this is completely false. NorthernThunder 08:47, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
- No, it was actually written to prevent the presumption that because the person that she's married to happens to be of the opposite sex, she's therefore heterosexual-by-default. If you can think of a clearer way to express that just because she's married to a man doesn't mean she's straight, be my guest. Bearcat 23:24, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
