[edit] GA nomination

The "trivia" section needs swift addressing - either integrate the info into the rest of the article or rid of it. LuciferMorgan 13:45, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

Also, citeweb needs to be used with the citations. LuciferMorgan 13:48, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] GA on hold

  • "The World Is Not Enough" was written by Don Black and David Arnold in winter(grammar) 1998 and recorded and mixed by Garbage, could be changed to 1998, recorded and mixed by Garbage
  • All images are missing fair use rationales - check the licensing on the picture.
  • Lead is too long, maximum is four paragraphs - merge some of these "paragraphs" together
  • The James Bond website - external jump
  • "[7]" take the " after the ref
  • December 7, 1999 -> December 7, 1999
  • The android Manson (right) walks in on the real Manson - Manson leads to a dab page
  • Cover versions should be converted from a list to a paragraph
  • Others one sentence and no reference
  • The commercial can be found on the movie's 2000 "Special Edition" DVD release. Not encyclopedic
  • Too many one sentence paragraphs, remove, merge or expand.
  • References required here
    • Arnold had already composed the scores to Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, and would later return for Die Another Day and Casino Royale, in which he also co-wrote Chris Cornell's theme "You Know My Name"
    • "The World Is Not Enough" ended in two "best of 1999" polls: #87 in 89X's "Top 89 Songs of 1999" and #100 in Q101's "Top 101 of 1999".
    • The single just failed to give Garbage their sixth top ten hit, stalling just outside at #11,
    • The single was not as succesfull in Ireland, charting at a lower #30. - also remove 'a lower'
    • The Official mixes section needs more then one reference
    • Copyright infringement civil court case (2004) - needs references

Every paragraph needs a reference, remove the one sentence paragraphs, add fair use rationales for all fair use media and i will be back. M3tal H3ad 07:15, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Cover versions and Others needs some references, one sentence paragraph under Official mixes, that's about it. Once there are dealt with I'll pass it. M3tal H3ad 00:38, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Too long?

I'm surprised that you could find so much to write about. Though maybe it's a little too much? The page is at 54 kilobytes and has that little warning notice. I'm not quite sure what you'd need to cut (the sheet music section does seem awfully useless though), but I figured I'd bring it up if you're wanting to try to get featured status.--SeizureDog 12:27, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

I agree - this page is far too long. When an article on a song is longer than the article on the band who sung it, it's usually a sign that something has gone horribly wrong somewhere. Terraxos 03:45, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
Indeed it is. But the problem doesn't lie with *this* article, but with the article on Garbage. Sadly, the poor thing doesn't seem to have gotten as much love and attention (yet!). Perhaps you'd care to rectify this grievous error? :) GeeJo (t)(c) • 16:23, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

There is no such restriction on size. OK? Vikrant Phadkay 14:45, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
