[edit] Original research

Doesn't need explaining, but the whole section needs inline citations from reliable sources. LuciferMorgan 01:19, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Does it? It's all true from what I can see. — Prodigenous Zee - 01:22, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
Doesn't matter whether you know it's true or not. This is an encyclopaedia, and people unfamiliar with the topic may read it. The section needs inline cites. Perhaps you should familiarise yourself with inline citations, because if everything's so called true in Maiden articles like you reckon, how come I found several mistakes in the main Iron Maiden article? Exactly, say no more. And other Maiden related articles have incorrect info, like the Dave Murray article I corrected earlier which falsely said he was Maiden's original guitarist (he didn't figure in the first line up). Also, maybe you'd like to explain all the fancrufty, BS statements like "influential" in the main article etc.? LuciferMorgan 01:38, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
I agree that there should be some citations in place, since Wikipedia puts a lot of importance on that, but... Christ, was it necessary for you to rip on Prodigenous like that? Whatever happened to civil debate on this encyclopedia of ours? 209.129.117.2 06:03, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
This isn't the first time me and Prodigenous has had a disagreement. LuciferMorgan 17:41, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
Hmm... sucks there's basically no proof for this on the internet. It's all correct from what I can see and was definitely a good analysis, the best I've seen on Wikipedia for an individual song. -Tobz1000 08:35, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

I don't think there's any other article on a single song with that much detail as how this one had. A knowledgable Iron Maiden fan with too much time on their hands, perhaps? If this article gets the special treatment, so should all the other song articles. 63.240.143.76 17:58, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

The detail it had was original research, and so the article didn't get special treatment. It had nothing on how Maiden wrote the song no nothing. As concerns all Maiden's songs getting special treatment, that'd be great but we'd need much more contributors. LuciferMorgan 14:33, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:The Wicker Man.jpg

Image:The Wicker Man.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
