How do we no Alvin Master is coming 07?
When I first started reading the series, I distinctly remember hearing that Alvin Maker was supposed to be loosely based on Joseph Smith, and the series on the founding of Mormonism. There were a bunch of parallels - from the name "Smith" to the way Alvin breaks his leg, and a bunch of others. See, for example, the article here.
Don't know where to go for actual references on the subject... Standback 11:18, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Comic series
What's Red Prophet: The Tales of Alvin Maker an adaptation of? The whole series, the whole series minus the first book, or just the second book alone? --DocumentN 00:06, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
