what qualifies this film as blaxploitation? i would contend that it, much like sweet sweetback's badasssss song and putney swope, has a different agenda than the blaxploitation films, and instead, stands as a landmark in black revolutionary thought. that, and the director is black. typically, blaxploitation films are qualified as such when the director of the film is NOT black, hence the "exploitiation" of the film's cast.

[edit] Split

This should be split into two seperate articles:

  • The Spook Who Sat By The Door (novel), and

I agree. --Supernumerary 18:05, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
  • Disagree - Not enough material for a split. --Basique 10:26, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
I Agree - that's usually how things are done here at wiki. more content can be added later. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4shizzal (talkcontribs) 14:22, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
