2/15/07 - This Wikipedia article was mentioned by sports analyst Gary Parrish in his "NCAA Tournament - Memorable Moment" series. Memorable Moment #5 was "The Shot," and one of the pieces of evidence he mentioned to justify this claim was that if you search for "The Shot" on Wikipedia, this is the first page that you find.

Exact Quote: "Just like that Drew's place in college basketball history was cemented -- evidence being how if you go to Wikipedia and merely type "The Shot" into a search the Valpo game winner will pop right up. OK, that's not exactly true. It's actually the fourth thing that pops up, just behind Christian Laettner's shot (we'll probably get to that one later in this series, by the way) and a couple of Michael Jordan game winners from the NBA Playoffs. But fourth behind Laettner and two Jordans isn't bad, particularly for a coaches' son playing at a small private school in Indiana."
