[edit] Why The Shaky Hands are notable
The Shaky Hands indeed satisfy the criteria for notability. They feature two members who have been part of the notable indie folk band The Castanets (Nicholas and Nathan Delffs) [1], and they also represent the Portland indie rock scene, as is shown by their popularity in the Willamette Week [2]. They've also been featured on Pitchfork, which is at the forefront of the national indie scene [3]. (Kneebiter42 09:40, 1 April 2007 (UTC))
- The album kicks some butt, too, so it's definitely notable. Downloads can be had at iTunes and emusic, so the band has national recognition. I'm a baby boom mom with a college kid, and I've heard their music, so I would agree that the band satisfies notability criteria!

Give them two or three weeks and no one will be disputing their notoriety. These guys are going to be huge in a major way. Three weeks or less, I say. Do they get their name from the Who song "Mary Anne with the Shaky Hands"? If so, shouldn't it be mentioned? Grutness...wha? 00:28, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
