Talk:The School of Night
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The first section of this article is rather incomplete and misleading. I wanted to edit it (I've not done this before) but when I click the "edit" link for that first section, I come up only with the second section starting "Name". So how does one change this information?
I wanted to include the more likely central names of School of Night members e.g. John Florio, Thomas Heriot, Edward Blount, Matthew Roydon, Fulke Greville etc. (including citations). I would remove Richard Baines and Ingram Frizer as I've seen absolutely no evidence for either. It is all rather misleadingly Marlowe-centric as it stands.
Can anyone enlighten me as to why the first section doesn't come up for editing when I click its edit link? -- scholarpoet Scholarpoet 15:05, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
You've got to click on the "edit this page" tab, which is up at the top. Clicking on the edit link for a section only opens that section. The tab at the top opens the entire article. Hope this helps. -- P L E A T H E R talk 18:02, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
I feel that this page, overall is incredibly poorly referenced and as far as I can tell is largely hearsay. I would appreciate if someone who made the original comments or someone with more time than I have at the moment could possibly correct and or reference the article better. I went through and cleaned up some of the poor spelling, but that's about it. I'm about to leave on vacation and have no time to do this. Anyways, looking forward to a better page.
