[edit] Corruption
My local rag (this paper) has been implicated as part of the ongoing corruption in the whole of San Diego County (cushy relations between it and local devs, pension underfunding, etc). Does this have any place in a wikipedia article about it? FireballX301 03:56, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

- If it received verifiable news coverage, sure. Feel free to add some info, as long as it's kept NPOV. -Colin Kimbrell 18:01, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] References section
I'm not sure what the entries in the references section had to do with anything, so I replaced them with the "references" tag. The article had the ref tags, but no references tag to actually display them. -- Hawaiian717 19:35, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
David Copley is a multiple DUI (driving under the influence) offender. He has been arrested and convicted (plea bargained) at least two times. Not sure if we can drag his name into "corruption" as he rarely goes to the "office." It should also be noted that even as the population of San Diego booms, the circulation of this paper plummets.
