[edit] Proposed deletion of John Felice article

Keep - or redirect to possible new Real Kids article. There are several issues here. Firstly, Felice was, with Jonathan Richman, a founder member of The Modern Lovers, who are clearly notable. However, WP:MUSIC states Members of notable bands are not given individual articles unless they have demonstrated notability for activity independent of the band. Fair enough - the issue then becomes one of whether Felice's later activities - i.e. The Real Kids - make him notable. In my view they do - The Real Kids are cited in multiple sources as important in the early Boston punk rock scene, have an AMG article, released albums internationally, etc. If the deletion proposal would be overcome by having an article headed The Real Kids, rather than a redirect to John Felice, fine, I will do that. Done. Better or not? Ghmyrtle (talk) 13:37, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
