[edit] Georg Friedrich.

The Georg Friedrich link in the cast list takes you to a page of a German nobleman who died in 1603, I thought it a little strange that he should appear in The Piano Teacher several hundred years later.

Needless to say, I understand that there has been a mistake with the links, perhaps there is no entry for the actor and the Margrave of Brandenburg-Ansbach was the closest thing. I'm not sure how to fix it so I'll leave this comment here and a similar one on the Georg Friedrich entry and hopefully it can be sorted out!

Yes, obviously two different people! I've altered the link so that it points to Georg Friedrich (actor). Thanks Nothingbutmeat. --A bit iffy 08:18, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

This has to be one of the weirdest films you will ever watch...........but that's not surprising seeing as all French films are weird and depressing. This film satisfies the stereotype perfectly. A psycho woman, still living with her elderly mother....her depraved fantasies for her young male student, her bizarre and cruel attacks on her other students sabotaging their clothes with shards of glass not to mention her jumping on and passionately kissing her mother........weird bizarre and depressing yet hilarious at the same time......one must wonder what the hell was going on in the director's mind
