I corrected the bibliographic citation for the initial publication. The series launched with The Infinite Matrix.Pleasantville 01:21, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

I didn't know that! Swanwick's afterword in the book says "Originally, these stories were posted one per week, in order of atomic number, on Sci Fiction, the SciFi Channel's webzine. Editor Ellen Datlow took a tremendous chance when she commissioned the series [...]"
Looking at the The Infinite Matrix link I wonder if maybe it was first commissioned for that publication, but was actually run on Sci Fiction. Note that only Hydrogen actually appears on the Infinite Matrix site. Also -- The Infinite Matrix didn't start publication until 2001 but the book itself, again, states in the colophon that the stories were published on Scifi.com "[...] at weekly intervals between 2000 and 2003". Am not trying to be argumentative, I am genuinely puzzled here. --Bonadea 11:48, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

One other thing. The article has been tagged for lack of references, but all the information comes from the book itself, which is referenced by its ISBN, or from the publisher's site which is linked, or from the Infinite Matrix site which is also linked. What other references are needed? --Bonadea 11:48, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
