[edit] Ian Curtis

In the video for the song The Perfect Kiss, there is an image of a shadowy figure projected on the back of a door in the studio (towards the end of the vid). Any guesses as to who this is? Ian Curtis filmed at a happier time and put in this video?

To answer the above question, I believe that this person was a friend / associate of the band, who also happened to have a decent physical resemblance to Curtis. His inclusion in the video is more or less meant to represent Curtis (or his spirit, perhaps) looking on approvingly at his former bandmates as they belt out (IMHO) their finest masterpiece.
Someone removed the reference to Ian Curtis standing in the doorway as speculation, and there's no citations in place to indicate that it was supposed to be symbolic of him; unless we can find a citation, shouldn't we remove the "dimly lit figure" bit, since the meaning will be lost on those who don't know about it being representative of Curtis? --PeanutCheeseBar 16:26, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
