Very good article overall. Im not the most knowledgable on the whole canterbury prologue, but it seems a few important things about the monk havent been noted. Im not sure, but wasnt the monk supposed to have certain characteristics that are a bit ironic for a monk. I dont really know Im interpreting it right, but didnt he really not like study etc.
