[edit] The return of Moldy Peaches?
"Female lead Dawson has claimed that the Moldy Peaches project is only inactive, not dead". Where/when was this?
i believe she said this in her live journal about a year back. she also mentioned a span of time. 5 years then. 4 now. during which time they'd pursue solo projects with the intent of a large reunion show at the end of this period and possibly a new album.
I've added a cite, that notes she has changed her website to reflect this.Wwwhatsup (talk) 13:38, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Factuality of source material
Having read through the source link (http://www.moldypeaches.com/bio.html), I don't believe this is a suitable place to gather information from. It appears to be a slightly factual parabole of the band's creation highly infused with satire and comedy (much in the same humor as the band's songs themselves). Therefor, anything derived from this source will be faulty. I'm going to have Ingoolemo take a look at this and see if he agrees. Useless Fodder 21:42, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
- I reverted it. it's obvious that it's not to be taken seriously. --badlydrawnjeff talk 22:56, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Someone should clean this up and fix it.
Most of the trivia could be turned into a Notable Appearances section.
The two quotes do not appear to be online. They're good, but they'll end up out if they can't be cited.

[edit] Removed from the article:
They are originally from Port Townsend, Washington.
Guitarist Jack Dishel is currently involved in his project Only Son, which has opened most notably for Regina Spektor on her last North American tour. In a previous interview with Conor Drebing, Green stated " right now it's probably a 50-50 chance if we're going to get back together. I mean, Jack's a great guy but we just sort of went our separate ways and I don't know what's going to happen."[citation needed] On the other side of the story Tayler Noya Interviewed Dawson stating "Being in a band is a hard thing and you just gotta work at it. You know, like Pat Benetar said, love is a battlefield." [citation needed]
- The song "Jorge Regula" contains a vocal part that is one note different from the main riff from War's "Low Rider".

[edit] Port Townsend
The phrase from Port Townsend in the intro is misleading. While it is true that the Kimya/Adam core consolidated and started using the name in PT, the band is not strictly 'from' there. As described the original roots are in upstate NY, and the band was based in NYC for practically it's entire career. I believe that 'from New York City' is more appropriate and that the Port Townsend formation should be relegated to the history. I'm not going to get into an edit war over it tho.
