Punkabilly vs. Punk Pop

Over the last week I've seen TLE's genre change from punkabilly, to punk pop and now back to punkabilly. I've just done a quick search and the bands genre is mentioned as punkabilly on the bands profile at many well known sites, including mtv.com, launch.yahoo.com and vh1.com. So that no one changes it in the future, it does seem that punkabilly is the right choice. Feel free to debate this, but I don't think it should a problem, just pointing it out. Thankyou

Both could be listed. Dwnsjane2 02:07, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

The Runaway Boys / The Longnecks

Although they are technically The Living End, I dont think they should be merged, due to not specifically playing TLE songs all the time. Runaway Boys was a coverband that played some orginal material, and the Longnecks played some original material and some choice covers. I dont think they should be merged. Thats my 2 cents.

The Longnecks should be merged into this article, they preety much are the living end. However The Runaway Boys has potential as an article and isnt part of the living end, and should not be merged into it. --Dan027 12:36, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

Fourth for a merge. Dannow 10:52, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

this has been going on long enough, ill do the merge tomorrow night with The Longnecks, and try and make some improvements to The Runaway Boys. cheers all --Dan027 14:50, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

Melbourne

Is there any objections to mentioning that the band are Melbourne based in the opening paragraph? Other bands such as Cat Empire are listed such, and American bands generally get a State mention. Satchfan 08:54, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

Couldn't hurt. It's not like it's detracting from the article, or false, anyway. --Dayn 13:49, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

Demsey

Should Travis Demsey's reasons for leaving the band be mentioned? As of now, it merely says that The Living End recorded their new album with Andy Strachan, with no explanation. Demsey left the band to spend more time with his family, if I'm not mistaken.

Sure if you can find some sources there is no harm in adding this. also please sign your comments with the 3 tides --Dan027 14:52, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
Four tildes, to add the time & date too. SCC 10:50, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
