[edit] Reception?

Considering, for a direct-to-video movie, this movie had such impressive sales, is it possible we could get some critical opinion in the article? Just feels more important than some of the existing sections of the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Prodigis (talkcontribs) 21:17, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Zira drowning?

The plot description says that Zira drowned, but if no one remembers, they never really found her dead or mentioned how she may have died, she merely fell and was swept away. I mean, it's a possibility that she did drown, but thats not really canon. Can we change that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.165.233.246 (talk) 01:53, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Trivia

Someone add the Trivia and facts of the movie.

[edit] Lion Colors

I'm pretty sure about this, but I watched this about 6 years ago so my memory may be hazy. When I watched it I noticed the animators took a slight departure from the established colors of lions in the series. Scar was a very reddish orange color to help differentiate him as evil, while every other male lion in the original Lion King was a bright yellow-orange. The female lions were a pale yellow-orange. Yet in this sequel they threw that out the window and the main character was a female while having the typical male lion color. That kind of irritated me when I saw this movie. I'm not saying that anything should be any specific color or anything, but I liked the system as it was originally established.

Hello. Please sign your comments on talk pages using ~~~~. Although you raise very good points (the team that made Simba's Pride never paid much attention to the original film), this is a page for discussing how to improve on the article, not the film itself. That's a hard judgment to make, as the only 2 males were father and son. It can be assumed that Kiara is "manly" in coloration due to her lineage, not her gender. Also, Kovu is darker in tone, much like Scar, but he is not evil, whereas Nuka is pale, but obviously dark in character.Rainbowpandachan 04:31, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

Actually, Kiara's color is more of a peach-orange color, her color is a different shade than that of a female lion or a male lion. The color came about by mixing the colors of a female lion and male lion, creating the dark, yet feminine orange color she currently has. 69.92.32.195 18:37, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] DVD versions

About 2 weeks ago I bought Simba's Pride on DVD - it was one disc Polish Special Edition. Does anybody know what featurettes are included into the first edition of Simba's Pride DVD? Maybe informations about the DVD versions should be added? Pobe 01:24, 4 February 2007 —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 83.238.238.201 (talk) 00:24, 4 February 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Song 'Love will find a way'

It would appear that the link to the wikipedia page for the above song relates to a different song by the same name: by the band 'Bardot'. This was recorded in 2002, around 4 years after the release of the film. I trust somebody can set this record straight, although I have no knowledge of it personally - I simply spotted the discrepancy. Electrodiesel 22:10, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Tlkreturn2priderock.jpg

Image:Tlkreturn2priderock.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
